Building a brighter future for LGBTQ+ youth in Singapore

“The RainbowAsia camp has provided me (a closetted queer person) with the space to be myself (based on my own readiness) and to have a safe and private space to befriend others like me. I have never gone to public queer spaces because of the fear of being seen by someone I know. In this camp, where the participants are the same throughout, and away from the public eye, I was able to feel comfortable enough to register for it and try it out. Being together with fellow queer people of different backgrounds and walks of life was truly a rare experience.”
