Event description

There’s no single way to build a career.

The Work Panel brings together professionals from different backgrounds and career journeys for an open and practical conversation about navigating work, growth and the relationships that help us along the way.

Designed for youths and young professionals, the discussion will explore four areas:

Career Pathways & Possibility Mapping
What happens when your career doesn’t go according to plan? Hear how our panellists have navigated career decisions, transitions and unexpected opportunities along the way.

Skills for Thriving at Work
From communication and confidence to feedback and workplace relationships, we’ll unpack some of the skills that can make a difference as you find your footing at work.

Mentorship into Action
Mentorship can be valuable, but how do you actually find a mentor? We’ll talk about building meaningful mentor relationships and making them work for both sides.

Building Supportive Networks
Your career isn’t built alone. We’ll explore the role that peers, colleagues, communities and professional networks can play in your growth.

Expect personal stories, practical advice and perspectives you can take back into your own career.
