Touring Tales: Of Communities and Spaces

Embark on a thrilling journey to uncover Singapore from a fresh perspective with Ron (@rontoursthelioncity) this October!“Of Communities and Spaces” is an LGBTQ+ inspired tour, that aims to expose participants of different backgrounds to different existing communities and how they correlate with each other and how each community is similar in their pursuit of finding a sense of belonging and a safe space for them to thrive and progress, be it past, present or future.

Participants would learn about the early settlers of Singapore and other early communities and the spaces and places they use to settle. Participants would also learn how current thriving communities, mainly the LGBTQ+ community, find spaces and places.

With the tour, it is with the hope that participants are able to better understand their place in the greater Singaporean society and be exposed to different possibilities in making a place and creating a space for themselves, with the help of visibility and exposure.

Tickets are available at SGD 35 per participant, including a complimentary drink at the end of the tour.
