Event Description
Join us for an uplifting day of community, compassion, and solidarity as we come together to provide necessities to our trans Muslim folks during the holy month of Ramadan. On March 16th and 17th, Community Canvas, RainbowAsia’s volunteering programme, collaborates with Quasa to host a distribution drive to deliver food and other household supplies to members of the trans community.
By donating daily staples and connecting with members of the trans community, we can gain insight into their lived experiences and demonstrate care. During Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn to dusk – going without food and drink. Providing nourishment after fast-breaking is a cherished tradition.
As a volunteer, you will:
👍 Purchase groceries from Sheng Shiong @ Marsiling MRT
👍 Pack these groceries for beneficiaries
👍 Distribute these groceries for the benficiaries

Ticket Reservation:
Each volunteer has the limit to reserve one ticket per day. If you are free on both 16 and 17 March, please reserve one ticket each from the respective dates.
